Has been the hardest year of my entire life. I’ve been stuck in such a dark place, but I’m hoping the new year will bring me happiness and love. Happy New Year.

Yes, I spent the time to think about this… a very long time.

Well in my fantasy, it would be in this house:

Or something Cozy in my house, I mean the interior of my house is similar to the top photographs, but the color palette is beige and olive green.

I would set a table up in front of one of my fireplaces.

Henry Mancini would be playing, starting with Lujon. (Click to play)Then some Bosa Nova. Getz/Gilberto to be exact. Lot’s of Jazz, preferably Billie Holiday, OH and the Song “As Time Goes By” would fit in there somewhere.

Then I would make dinner:

-Salad: Baby Arugula, Organic Red and Yellow Beets, Roasted Walnuts, Fresh Dill, drizzle of Lemon and Olive Oil, topped off with shaved Parmesan.

     -Maybe an Antipasti of some sort-

               -A Palette cleanser-

-Main Course: Thinly cut steak, prepared rare, with a wild mushroom/black truffle reduction. Served with oven roasted rosemary potatoes and french cut green beans.

-Desert: Either make a Trifle with fresh whipped cream, raspberries and nutella. Or Buy something.

-Merlot or Champagne would be endless…

We would discuss everything and anything. Hopefully there would be lots of laughter. Maybe look at art and photography and discuss how it makes us feel, what we think they mean, what message the artist was trying to capture.Talk about travel, our goals in life.

Maybe I could serenade my date…

Perhaps watch a film, Casablanca or a Romantic Comedy?

I just want to make someone feel really special, like they are the only person I’ll ever look at.
